Pandora charms are now one of the leading charm bracelets on sale these days. It’s a difficult to fathom why they are so in demand. They are well marketed but even that isn’t enough to make an item as popular as Pandora jewelry now is. One thing that has added to their popularity is the ability to change the charms around, exchanging one charm for another, adding enamel beads, etc., and coming up with a brand new look in a bracelet. This ability means that one set of jewelry can be changed around to match any outfit, or to suit any occasion.
Pandora charms also make a wonderful present for any woman, no matter how old or young she is. If the woman you are buying a gift for already has a Pandora charm bracelet, all you need do is buy her another charm to add to her collection. If she doesn’t have a bracelet yet, you can buy the actual bracelet itself and add a few of the less expensive charms to it, and still have a fantastic gift to give. Once a woman owns a Pandora bracelet you’ll find it very easy to know what to give her for her birthday, for Christmas, or for any other special time in her life such as entering the workforce, marriage, etc.
Charms range greatly in price. The less expensive charms are generally the Sterling Silver ones, or the glass murano beads or enamel beads. Charms with a mix of silver and gold are more pricey, and naturally the gold charms are generally the most expensive. Pricing is also determined by whether a precious or semi-precious gem is included as part of the charm’s design. It doesn’t matter what your budget is, you should be able to find the perfect charm to give as a gift.
Pandora Jewelers regularly release new batches of beads. Of late, these releases have been scheduled in Spring and Fall of each year, and sometimes special releases happening at other times of the year. Fairly often, older beads are sometimes retired meaning that once that particular bead is all sold out they will not be made again. Some charms are sold as limited editions only, such as the latest Pandora grape charms.
Pandora’s 2009 Fall Release will be released in a few months. From what I have read they will include a set of zodiac beads, new enamels and some brand new designs also. Spring 2009 beads included Sterling silver purses, new additions to the pet collection and other delightfully designed charms including some new Murano glass beads.
Pandora charms are easy to keep clean. It’s highly recommended that you wipe them off with a soft cloth when you take them off. Pandora offers special polishing clothes, just for cleaning Pandora charm bracelets. They do warn against using liquid jewelry cleaner though, as they say that it has damaged some Pandora charms. Store them along with your other jewelry, either in a jewelry case, or even a plastic bag will do if you don’t have anything else. Just be sure to keep them safe when you’re not wearing them, and always put them in the same place to avoid forgetting where they are.
