After recently looking into news stories on both Pairs Hilton and Lindsay Lohan getting their precious pieces of jewellery back I thought it would be good to write on why it was so important to them.
Jewellery is something that is very important to almost everyone in the world and there are many reasons for this. For most people it would seem that it is worth a lot more to their hearts than it is in money. This can actually be for a number of reasons. The main reason is because they received it as a special gift from someone dear to them a long while ago. This seems to be the one thing that makes jewellery a lot more valuable to people. Do the same things happen to the rich and famous?
Although a crime is a crime, these people have so much money that surely a couple of pieces of lost jewellery doesnt make any difference to them at all. With these people they spot something and just buy it and then will only wear the item a couple of times even that. Although there are many celebrities out there that abuse the fact that they have a lot of money, there are some that treat it with respect and only get jewellery when they need too. These people will actually get given the precious jewellery rather than go out and buy a new piece every other day.
Lindsay and Paris love to buy things they do not need which is why the jewellery that was taken in the first place was most likely not special in any way shape or form.
It is also true to say that being robbed is very scary and it can be a huge relief when you find out the culrptis have been caught and your items are back. Lohan, Hilton and the LAPD would all have recieved press for this so I wonder if the LAPD worked extra hard on the cases.
